I was invited to testify before the California Senate Committee on eCommerce, Wireless, and Consumer-Driven Programming.  And while that was a great experience, even better  was that Kai and JJ drove down to have dinner with me!   We ate dinner at the River City Brewing Company (some of you may remember our association with this) and then had incredible desserts at Rick's Dessert Diner.  Food and drinks were excellent at River City, but there was a certain je ne sais quoi missing without the presence and guidance of Manuel Pereira.
