Hit Counter:
In 1976, when I was 17, my Dad and I spent a substantial part of our Saturday fixing our station wagon's brakes. It was dirty, tedious, hard work. We saved $175 and we were really pleased with ourselves so we got my Mom to take our picture. Fast forward 32 years (jeez!). Grant and I saved $129 by replacing the power supply on the kids' computer. It's sort of hard to compare -- it was tedious, and it took about an hour (given travel time to purchase the part), and I think we were no less pleased. As I was about to throw away the old power supply I recalled that Grant is now 17 -- the same age as I was in the picture with Dad. So...we got Cyndy to take our picture in exactly the same pose.
