Before opening presents.

Two comments: 

1) I am not sure what sort of trick photography was involved to make all this smoke appear because I KNOW there were not that many candles. 

2)  German Chocolate cake is perhaps the finest cake in the world.  Cyndy made if for me this year and I LOVED it.   

We played monopoly, had popcorn and hot chocolate, and watched the countdown.
