We think the Miami Metrozoo is very cool.  This is not the traditional "bars and cages" kind of zoo.  The animals have lots of space in a natural habitat for them; no cages, no bars.  The zoo is on a large piece of land and it looked to me like there is plenty of room for growth.  We only had an hour, so we speed-walked through the Asian section.  That's probably only a 3rd of the zoo.  We highly recommend it.
